This Privacy Policy explains how ClockAndClient ("we," "us," "the Site") handles information when you use our free tools, including the Rate Calculator, Tax Estimator, Invoice Tracker, and World Clock.
Tool data you enter. When you use the Invoice Tracker or World Clock, information you enter — client names, invoice amounts, dates, payment status, and selected time zones — is saved so it's available the next time you visit. [IF ANONYMOUS/BROWSER-BASED: This data is tied to your browser/device, not to a personal account, and is not linked to your name or email unless you choose to create an account.] [IF ACCOUNTS ADDED LATER: If you create an account, this data is linked to your account so it's available across devices.]
We do not require this data to use the calculators. The Rate Calculator and Tax Estimator work entirely in your browser and nothing you enter into them is saved or transmitted to us.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we (and our analytics/advertising partners) automatically collect standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and time spent on the site. This is used to understand site usage and is not tied to your name.
Cookies and advertising. This site displays advertising through Google AdSense (or [OTHER AD NETWORK]). Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the financial data you enter (invoice amounts, client names) with any third party except as necessary to operate the underlying storage infrastructure (our hosting/database provider).
Data you enter into the Invoice Tracker and World Clock is stored using [Supabase / hosting provider name], a third-party database service. We take reasonable measures to protect this data, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Because invoice data may include client names and dollar amounts, we recommend not entering highly sensitive information (such as full client contact details or account numbers) into these tools.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (such as advertising). To exercise these rights, contact us at [EMAIL].
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information as defined by CCPA, though ad partners' use of cookies may constitute "sharing" under the law — you can opt out via the links in Section 1).
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
